Display defaultThe Informers section in the admin panel is responsible for setting up the Help widget, which can automatically open when logging into the user’s personal account. This widget allows the platform owner to customize the display of the necessary links. For example, in this window you can place links to project documentation with a user manual. Information about your personal manager can also be displayed here. Here you can configure the output of any information using HTML code. Let's take a closer look at the setup process.
The Help widget is configured in the admin panel in the Informers section.
After going to the section, you can see a list of default informers.
To make a change, click on the name of the informer.
At the top of the page the name is displayed in all languages connected to the project and the Active checkbox, which is responsible for enabling the pop-up window.
Next is the configuration of the blocks of the widget itself.
Name of block - this field indicates the name of the block; it is used in the admin panel for convenience.
Title - this field specifies the title. It will be displayed in a window for the user.
Description - here you can provide a brief description of how to use the widget. This text will also be displayed to the user in his personal account.
Button - here the buttons that will be displayed in the block are selected from the list. The set of buttons is standard and links to them lead to Agora documentation. But you can also add your own buttons, to do this you need to click on +, and then select the icon, button text, link and weight. After saving, the button can be added to the form.
Template - in this field you can select the output of an additional block, for example with information about the manager. You can also add a new template.
When adding a new template, a name in one or more languages is indicated for it, as well as the HTML code of the template. After saving, it will appear in the list of templates.
Weight - this field indicates the weight; it affects the order in which the blocks are displayed. If several blocks should be displayed for the user, then the weight is responsible for which block will be displayed higher and which lower. The greater the weight, the higher the block display priority.
The display of each block can be configured for each type of user separately through the Visibility settings. That is, a separate widget for the supplier, a separate one for the buyer and a separate one for the manager. In addition, you can configure the widget to be displayed for an unauthorized user.
If you have made any changes, it is important to Save them.
The widget can consist of several blocks, where various links and templates will be displayed. For example, in the screenshot below, the buyer widget consists of 3 blocks.
Similarly, you can set up a personal widget for the supplier, for the manager, and for all unauthorized users, if necessary. All blocks are added within one informer and only one informer can be active.
If you do not want to change existing settings, then you can create a new informer by clicking the Add Infocenter button.
Next, fill in the same fields that were discussed above.
After saving the informer, check that only one of the informers in the list is active.
If your project has the Help informer enabled, you can enable or disable the default display of the informer for one or more users. To do this, in the Users section of the admin panel, you can select the ones you need.
And then in the drop-down list at the bottom of the page on the left, select Enable display of informer by default.
When the informer is enabled, after authorization in the personal account, the user will see a Help drop-down menu with customized content.
You can configure the widget yourself or contact technical support.
