Information pages allow you to introduce users to additional information that the platform administrator is ready to share. You can create several of them and place them in the top menu or in the top/bottom of the sidebar.

Adding a page

You can create an information page by clicking the Add button next to the Pages section of the administrative panel.

Or click the Add page button inside the Pages section.

A form will open where you can set up a new page.

Title — The title of the page that will be displayed on the site.

Slug — this name will be used in the url address.

Active — enables/disables the page.

In the header/In the sidebar — if checkboxes are set, the page will be displayed in the top menu or sidebar, respectively.

To go to all settings, click on the Other options field.

Parent — allows you to select the parent page for the created one.

Override URL — it is possible to set the local address of the information page. The project domain will always be added to the address specified in the field.

Redirect to — add a link to an external site, if necessary. The name of the page will be displayed in the Information section, and when clicked, the transition to the specified page will be made.

In the Page content section, you can customize the appearance of the page. For convenience, the editing form can be expanded to full screen using the button or stretch the window to the desired size for the lower right corner.

The editor allows you to create headings, format the font and general appearance of the page, add links, bulleted lists and images.

Navigation group — if the Footer value is set, the page will be displayed only in the footer, while ignoring the setting of the checkboxes In the header/In the sidebar, the Default status has no effect.

Site — shows which project the page will be hosted on. Click on «+» to add a new site.

Language — the language in which the page is written.

Translation of — you need to select a page in another language, which will be replaced by the created page when changing the language. If there is no such page, you need to create it separately.

Clicking the Search engine optimization will open the SEO tools dashboard.

Meta keywords — when used correctly, they can help in search engine promotion.

Meta description — will be displayed when issuing the page by search engine sites.

After setting, click the Save button.

Also available are intermediate saving, saving with a further transition to creating a new page, and regular saving.

Managing Information Pages

To manage information pages in the administrative panel, go to the Pages section. With the help of filters and a search bar, you can display only the pages you need.

To change the table, just click on the heading.

If you want to remove pages you don't need, check them using the checkbox and then select Delete selected pages from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen.

Displaying information pages in the sidebar

In the Portal Settings section, you can choose whether the Information section will be displayed at the top or bottom of the Agora site sidebar.
